First Step™ is the only do-it-yourself kit for making a lasting, one-of-a-kind glass impression of your little one’s hand or foot from the comfort of your own home.

We’ve been offering our signature QuickCast to thousands of parents and their little ones over the last 10 years at our Hot Sand headquarters.

How it works:

  • Get a good full print

  • Let the impression dry for 48hrs

  • Mail it back to us using the prepaid envelope included in the kit

  • When we receive your impression, we create a mold that is then filled with molten glass

  • Once cooled and set, your First Step™ imprint is mailed back to you

  • You display it in your home! And if you want, tag us on social; we love sharing stories!
